Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry
The Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) is the official representative body for the Luxembourg investment fund industry. Set up in November 1988 to promote that industry’s development, it has since opened itself to players other than investment funds. Its mission is to “lead industry efforts to make Luxembourg the most attractive international centre for investment funds.”

The gif research society for the German real estate industry was set up as a non-profit organisation in 1993, its stated purpose being to reconcile theory and practice in the industry. It is committed to settling significant real estate economy issues and to enhance the transparency of Germany’s real estate market, not least for international players.
The Voice of Corporate Governance in Luxembourg
The mission of ILA is to promote the profession of senior executives by developing its members into highly qualified, effective and respected professionals. At the same time, ILA is the leading interest group of the management profession in Luxembourg. Over the past decade, ILA has dedicated its work to the development of best governance practices and the provision of professional development options to its members.
Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association
The Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA) is the interest group representing private equity and venture capital professionals in Luxembourg. LPEA plays a lead role in defining and developing the country’s investment parameters and actively promotes the industry abroad. LPEA provides a dynamic and interactive platform for its members to compare notes, and regularly hosts workshops and networking opportunities.”
Supporting Sustainable Finance
The Luxembourg Finance Labelling Agency (LuxFLAG) is an independent, non profit making association created in Luxembourg in July 2006 by seven founding partners who are the Charter Members. The agency aims to promote the raising of capital for the Responsible Investment sector by awarding a recognisable label to eligible investment vehicles. Its objective is to reassure investors that the applicant invests, directly or indirectly, in the Responsible Investment sector. The applicant may be domiciled in any jurisdiction that is subject to a level of national supervision equivalent to that available in European Union countries.
Platform for Real Estate Professionals
LuxReal is a platform for real estate professionals either based or active in Luxembourg. The association hosts forums on industry trends, sets up working groups and maintains national and international relations, thereby giving industry insiders the opportunity to exchange information, knowledge and experience. LuxReal also plays an active role in the areas of lobbying, continued professional development and industry standards.
Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
Established 150 years ago in England, RICS is a global industry association that accredits professionals within the land, property, construction, and infrastructure sectors while also promoting and enforcing the highest standards in these areas. With offices in key spots around the world, RICS is well-placed to influence policy and embed standards at national and cross-governmental levels. Its mission is to promote a single international standard and a safe and yet vibrant marketplace.
