Tax Compliance Manager (F/M/D)

We are looking for you

Indeed, we would like to reinforce our small Tax Team of seasoned tax practitioners with an additional team member having both experience in management and strong knowledge of Luxembourg direct tax aspects. You will be offered the opportunities to expand your tax knowledge in different areas and to take part in shaping the Tax Department’s evolution.

Your responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of direct tax returns in cooperation with the Tax Compliance Director;
  • Taking part in the FATCA/CRS due diligence and reporting process as well as the preparation of VAT returns;
  • Liaising with the tax authorities, tax advisers and auditors and assisting clients with their day-to-day tax queries;
  • Leading the organization of the Team to meet direct tax return filing deadlines together with the Tax Compliance Director;
  • Coaching junior members of the Tax Department and accountants on direct tax matters;
  • Promoting and supporting knowledge development in the Team and the Company.

Your profile

  • You have a Master’s degree in accounting/economics/law with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Luxembourg tax compliance;
  • You have solid knowledge of Luxembourg Direct Tax and understanding of VAT and/or FATCA/CRS legislations;
  • You have a good overall understanding of the Luxembourg corporate and fund industry;
  • You have a good knowledge of Luxembourg laws and regulations applicable to tax matters;
  • You are a strong team player and have good organizational skills;
  • You are willing to learn and have a hands-on attitude;
  • You have an independent and reliable way of working;
  • You are fluent in English and French, German will be considered as an asset;
  • You have general proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and tax platforms.
