Accounting Assistant Manager (F/M/D)

Due to our continuous growth and expansion, PANDOO Administration is looking to recruit a

Your responsibilities

  • Regular bookkeeping and reconciliation of the accounts;
  • Ensure compliance with the contractual clauses and service level as described in the service agreement entered into with the Client;
  • Delegate and review some tasks performed by the Accountants and Senior Accountants;
  • Coach junior staff members;
  • Calculation and review of the tax provisions;
  • Liaise with external parties: auditors, banks, tax advisors, lawyers and other third parties;
  • Take initiatives to improve team management and client service;
  • Assistance to client meetings and regular clients contacts;
  • Ensure the respect of the statutory reporting deadlines and other reporting requirements (e.g. CSSF and BCL reportings);
  • Process and follow-up the daily correspondence or any ad-hoc request (day-to-day operations of the companies);
  • Involvement in the consolidation process;
  • Prepare annual accounts and interim accounts in accordance with the Luxembourg accounting rules (balance sheet, income statement,...);
  • Organise accounting files in accordance with the internal procedures in place;
  • Perform NAV calculation on a regular basis in accordance with Luxembourg accounting rules of other if required (e.g. IFRS, income statement,...);
  • coordinate and follow-up planning and reporting deadlines.

Your profile

  • You have a graduate/BAC+3 in accounting, finance or similar
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in the accounting and financial reporting of Real Estate and Private Equity structures;
  • First experience in managing a team;
  • Fluent in English, German and/or French are considered as a big asset;
  • IT skills necessary to perform the job (MS Office, CDDS, Tax platform, Accounting tools, ...)
  • Knowledge in HGB and/or US GAAP being an asset;
  • Mastering local and international accounting standards and financial reporting practices: Lux GAAP, IFRS, chart of accounts, fund regulation,...
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg laws and regulations applicable to accounting matters;
  • Strong organizational skills and committed to meet deadline;
  • Eager to self-develop and learn;
  • Flexible approach on handling workload;
  • Good team player and communicator, promoting the spirit of mutual support between colleagues and teams;
  • Capable of delivering regular feedback, forwarding and sharing important information.
